Susan + Ryan’s Sayulita, Mexico wedding is the kind of wedding most of us only dream of. The village of Sayulita is off the beaten path, making it the ideal remote location for a ceremony and reception in celebration of love. The tremendously talented Christian Stanley of LuvBug Studios in Portland, Oregon, went along for the trip and managed to perfectly capture Sayulita’s natural beauty, along with the pure beauty of Susan + Ryan’s love. He's also a Sayulita Mexico Wedding Photographer.
In many of Susan + Ryan’s wedding photos, it appears that the two of them are completely alone on a desert island. Like when they’re running on the beach hand in hand, or kissing on the side of an old rowboat, or staring out at the endless ocean into their future. If you have to be stuck on a desert island, it better be with the love of your life. Your world will be pure bliss.
But then, we see that the couple aren’t actually alone; that their closest friends and family are there to celebrate with them in this stunning location. And while there was something terribly romantic about believing they were alone, it’s so much more gratifying to see everyone they love together. Wedding guests are dancing along to a mariachi band, laughing while forming a conga line, and watching a fireworks show.
Susan + Ryan will have plenty of time in their marriage to spend on their own deserted island. Just the two of them. But the moments when they bring everyone they love into a dancing conga line on their little island are the ones that will stand out in their memories forever.
